Projection mapping breaks free from the rectangle. Instead of displaying content on a flat screen, it transforms three-dimensional objects — buildings, stage sets, vehicles, sculptures, even wedding cakes — into living, breathing canvases. Astro Audio Visual's Projection Mapping service combines artistic vision with technical precision to create unforgettable immersive experiences that leave audiences in awe.

The process begins with a 3D scan or CAD model of the target surface. Our content designers use this geometry to build animations that perfectly align with every edge, corner, and contour of the physical object. When projected, the content appears to wrap seamlessly around the surface, creating illusions of motion, depth, transformation, and destruction that trick the eye and spark emotion. A hotel facade can appear to crumble and rebuild, a product on stage can morph through colors and configurations, or a plain white set piece can transform into a lush forest, a circuit board, or an ocean.

On the technical side, we deploy multiple high-lumen laser projectors with precision lens shifts, using media servers running Disguise or TouchDesigner for real-time warp and blend calculations. Each projector is surveyed to sub-pixel accuracy using photogrammetric calibration, and our playback systems support timecoded show control to synchronize visuals with audio, lighting, and pyrotechnics.
